In July 2006 a group of doctors working in Queensland of Pakistani origin got together in Gold Coast, to form an association called APDOQ. APDOQ’s main goal is to bring doctors of Pakistani origin, together to improve networking amongst them, to have a platform where they can socialize and above all to lend a helping hand to all the newly arriving Pakistani doctors.
It would not be possible to set up an association like this without the help, sincerity and support of many of our friends, Some of them deserve a special mention.

Dear Members of the APDOQ,
It is a profound honour and privilege to serve as President of the Australian Pakistani Doctors of Queensland (APDOQ). I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me, and I look forward to working alongside each of you to further strengthen our association.
APDOQ represents more than a professional body. It is a community of doctors connected by shared heritage, shared values, and a shared commitment to excellence in healthcare. Our strength lies not only in our clinical expertise, but in the spirit of cooperation, respect, and service that defines us.
One of our key priorities is to continue fostering unity among our members. In an increasingly demanding healthcare environment, standing together allows us to support one another and better serve the wider Australian community. Through regular CME activities, professional development initiatives, and leadership opportunities, we aim to encourage continuous growth and lifelong learning.
Equally important is our responsibility to mentor and guide the next generation of doctors. By offering support, encouragement, and practical guidance, we help young professionals navigate their careers with confidence and integrity.
In addition to supporting medical professionals, APDOQ provides a platform for meaningful connection through social, cultural, and charitable programs that reflect both our professional dedication and our shared heritage.
With sincerity, integrity, and collective purpose, InshaAllah, we will continue to build an association that empowers its members and contributes positively to healthcare in Queensland.
Thank you for your dedication, your passion, and your unwavering commitment to the APDOQ.
APDOQ elections will be held every two years. Elections will be conducted by a secret ballot.
